Licensed Educational Psychologist
First and foremost, Monica is an empathetic therapist, who believes in building the strength of your intuition to guide your decisions and develop a strong sense of self. Through her own journey in therapy, she has learned how to embrace her inner voice and enhace intution to bring on natural confidence and strength.
Monica's professional journey began at California State Universtiy of Long Beach, where she obtained a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychogy. When discovering a passion to work with youth in the education setting, Monica attended Chapman University to receive her Master's of Arts in Educational Psychology and an Educational Specialists Degree in School Psychology. Later she pursued a License of Educational Psychology to expand her educational psychologist career. Monica advocates for school-aged people through education evaluations to support them through their school journey and find academic and emotional success.
Monica's journey in the mental health field continued as she began working towards her License of Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) to have the opportunity to provide metal health therapy services. After nearly four years of obtaining consistent training from supervision of licensed therapists and through working with clients, Monica developed cognitive behavior therapy, meditation, mindfulness, and other therapeutic techniques to support her client's well-being.

My sales team works in a high pressure, fast-paced environment that has only augmented as we find ourselves dealing with the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak. Like many businesses, we have been faced with challenges that have caused feelings of anxiety, stress, loss of motivation, and pessimism. Through her meditation, Monica has helped our sales and leadership team cope with those feelings, and the outcome has truly been incredible. Her techniques are engaging, soothing, and rejuvenating. With Monica’s guided meditations sessions, I’ve been able to find the “pause-button” that I’ve needed to find the tools to cope with some of the hardest times I’ve experience both professionally and personally.
I listened to one of Monica’s meditations and invited my mom to join. During a time of overwhelming uncertainty and heightened stress, we both felt so much weight lifted from our energy after the meditation. It was so nice to experience alongside my mom and to see her truly smile!
Good morning, Monica! I have done the meditations two days now. This morning I did the cleansing meditation and yesterday, I did the health-earth one. I have to tell you that I have had a pressure in my chest for almost a month! I was convinced that it was the dreaded virus. My doctor told me I had no symptoms and *Jocelyn told me it was stress and anxiety, as did my sister *Magaret and *Evelyn.
Well, this morning I have no pressure. I am serious! It’s been so long that I thought I would have to go to the doctor and have my heart checked. The cleansing did more for me than the health-earth, or maybe it was the combination. In any case, I just wanted to thank you. I am going to continue listening; and if you don’t mind, I’m going to share this with *Margaret and *Evelyn, who are also under a lot of stress. Thanks again!
